- Rodrigo studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic university of Madrid and the Technical University of Munich, specializing in energy technology and nuclear technology. He completed his doctorate at IPP in 2019 and received a European Engineering Grant to continue his work on hydrogen isotope erosion, transport and retention in first wall materials. Since 2022 he is working as a lab leader at W.L. Gore and Associates, in charge of GORE-TEX Footwear quality and R&D testing.
