The video, produced in 2010 to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, presents a nine-minute summary of five decades of fusion research.

In the outline on IPP the film also retraces major milestones on the way to a fusion power plant and states the present research objectives (in German with English subtitles).
