Objectives



 

Development and operation of different systems for heating and controlling the plasma parameters for the large fusion experiments of the IPP;
support for the enhancements of the JET heating systems; collaboration on the development of heating systems for ITER.

The fusion experiments of the IPP are heated by three methods:

Whereas the first two methods heat both ions and electrons, only electrons are heated by ECRH.
