The Alumnus Club of Max Planck Institute
for Plasma Physics was founded in 1997 and has 200 members at present.
Who are Alumni?
Alumni are all former members of staff who served at IPP as physicists,
mathematicians, engineers, lawyers, or economists and are now employed by
other research intitutions or companies.
What are the aims of the Alumnus Club? The club cultivates contact and shares experience. A major concern is
discussion of commom interests and problems. IPP alumni receive "Impulse",
the quaterly in-house journal, and the "Energie-Perspektiven" newsletter
and are invited to the annual Alumnus Meeting.
