The various projects for children want to arouse interest in young people for science and technology and to promote understanding for scientific context. The target groups are children at pre-school, elementary school (3rd grade), secondary school up to 13 years (7th grade). Although those children are very young, they already know a lot about science - many TV series for kids focus on that and most of the kids love their "Discovery Channel" as an animated picture book.

Even more valuable is the possibility to have hands on the real thing. Important aspects of the projects are the direct contact with scientists, showing the thrill and fascination of science, successful experiments according to age and ability of the kids, and improve access of girls to scientific and technological education by providing clear ideas of career opportunities.

Besides the various projects and to obtain sustainability, a brochure for children was developped. For very young readers the brochure gives a comprehensive introduction into the "energy" and "fusion" topics as well as instructions for amazing experiments.
