Guided tours at IPP

Visitors by appointment are most welcome to the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching and Greifswald. Tours are available to both groups and individuals, who are then assigned to a group. Please book your visit in good time by phone or in writing.

Tours of the Institute in Garching start with a film showing the principles of fusion research. Then the ASDEX Upgrade fusion device, the pulse generators for powering the device as well as an exhibition on fusion research can be visited. Please book your visit with:
