Abstract:
In discharges where ICRH is used, the interferometry channel measurements can go corrupt and result in faulty real-time density estimation. A Kalman filter based density estimation has been implemented by Thomas Blanken. Improved modelling and tuning of the heuristic model resulted in density predictions suited for real-time density control in discharges where most of the interferometric channels failed.
