Master thesis: Spline finite element exterior calculus on broken spaces

In this talk, we want to briefly review the theoretical foundations of the finite element exterior calculus (FEEC) method and apply it to a B-Spline discretization of a tensor-product domain. As an extension, we study the conforming/non-conforming (Conga) method. Throughout, we will apply our results on a cold plasma equation, whose solution will be computed numerically at the end. For this purpose, a software package in the Julia programming language was developed and will be presented too.
