Financial Support

Financial support by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation towards travel (up to EUR 500/1000 for Europe/outside), meals and accommodation (up to EUR 100 per day) is available for up to 20 students/young scientists who attend both the School and the Symposium.

For USA-based university/college students, attending the entire meeting (School and Symposium), NASA and NSF travel support is available to cover airfares and related costs.

If you want to apply for financial support, please make sure to add a related letter during the registration process for the school, justifying your need. 

If you are a student, please also request a letter from your research advisor in which they support your application for financial support.

Grants will be allocated considering financial need and importance of attendance.
