The large vacation home (200 m2 inside and 800 m2 outside) has 2 flats and is 5 km away from Lake Chiemsee. The house lovingly maintained and is suitable for larger family celebrations as well as vacations of small or larg groups of people. In the environment of the Chiemsee there is a multiplicity of leisure activities whether in the mountains, at, in or on the Chiemsee. See also: https://www.chiemsee-alpenland.de/
The large part of the house consists of a combined kitchen-living room, spacious parlor, bathroom, separate toilet and 2 double rooms on the ground floor, as well as 2 additional bookable double rooms in the basement (to be booked separately below).
A single room in the basement is occasionally used by our houskeeper when there is a change of tenants and is additionally available for large groups by arrangement.
On the first floor there is an additional bookable apartment with a large bedroom with 2 double beds, kitchen-living room (sofa bed for 1 person) and bathroom. A crib and a child's high chair are available!
The house is equipped with wifi.
1 garage and parking spaces are available.

Cleaning includes bed linen and kitchen towels. Please bring your own bath towels.
Arrival from 3 pm, departure until 10 am.
To make sure you get your desired date, please book at least 3 months in advance. After this period, open nights are also available externally.
For your children, child care with handicrafts and painting by the artist Astrid Urban can be offered by appointment. Art workshops for adults can also be booked. Information and booking preferably 2 weeks before arrival at asteria-art@t-online.de

NEW - Art exhibitions in the holiday home LEOPOLD in Chiemgau.
Starting at the end of the lockdown in 2021, we will present changing annual exhibitions in Haus LEOPOLD with paintings from our members. Since our guest rooms are designed in different colors, we adapt the paintings as far as possible to this color scheme and are pleased to be able to present you with a very special vacation ambience.
If the artists also sell their paintings, you will find price tags on the paintings. At the end of the exhibition year, you are welcome to purchase the paintings.
At present we present paintings and art objects of the painter and artist Astrid Urban, who has lovingly cared for and designed our house LEOPOLD as a janitor from the beginning.
