Please note: Social event – football match
We are making every effort to ensure that as many participants as possible can watch the football match without having to miss out on a social event.
Regensburg is a city where all relevant points of interest can be reached on foot. For this reason, we have limited our selection of hotels to the city centre. If you decide to go on a city tour, you can easily watch the football match afterwards. The buses for the external programme items will take participants to the football stadium at the end.
If participants do not wish to do so, they can also be dropped off at another location.

Mai Dult Regensburg
Date/Time: 14 - 31 May 2026
Address: Stadtamhof
History
Today, the Regensburg Dult is a folk festival similar to the Oktoberfest in Munich. It has its roots in the Middle Ages, when church festivals and pilgrimages were used to hold annual fairs. Originally documented as part of the Stadtamhof district in the 14th century, the markets developed into today's two Dults in May (Spring Dult) and August/September (Autumn Dult). The Dult festivals were initially purely annual markets for the exchange of goods, but over time, fairground rides and entertainment were added, bringing the folk festival to its current form.
