From Regensburg, you embark on an unforgettable excursion to Walhalla, one of the most impressive buildings in Bavaria. Visible from afar, the impressive marble temple towers majestically over the Danube. The climb up the 360 or so steps is rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Danube valley. Inside the Walhalla, an exciting guided tour awaits us, bringing the history of this unique monument to life. Built in the 19th century on the initiative of King Ludwig I, Walhalla honors important personalities from the worlds of art, science and politics. The impressive marble busts and memorial plaques tell of the great names in history. After exploring, there is time to enjoy the spectacular view before returning to Regensburg. An excursion that perfectly combines history, culture and nature!
