An unforgettable nature experience awaits us on the canoe tour from Penk to Mariaort. On the gently flowing Naab, we paddle past idyllic forests, picturesque river landscapes and small sandy bays that invite us to take a short break. With a bit of luck, herons or kingfishers will accompany us on our journey. After around two hours, we reach the charming village of Mariaort, where the Naab flows into the Danube. Here we end the tour in a cosy atmosphere and stop off at the traditional Gasthof Krieger. We enjoy a well-earned refreshment on the sunny terrace overlooking the river with regional specialties and a cold beer. A perfect combination of exercise, nature and Bavarian hospitality - an excursion that offers relaxation and adventure in equal measure!
Additional information:
For the canoe tour, you will need comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, which can get wet. Please bring trainers or neoprene shoes with a sturdy sole for use in the boat. There are changing rooms and washrooms on site. You will also be provided with life jackets for swimmers and buoyancy aids for non-swimmers. You will be given dry bags for your valuables, which you can take with you in the boat. You can leave anything you don’t need on the bus; it will be waiting for you at the drop-off point.
