We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Greifswald has two train stations. Regional Express trains (RE) will stop at both stations. The faster Intercity trains (IC or ICE) will only stop at Greifswald main station.

If you arrive from direction Berlin with Regional Express, the first stop in Greifswald is "Greifswald Sued" [Greifswald Süd] and the second is "Greifswald main station" [Greifswald Hauptbahnhof]. If your hotel is located in the city centre, then you should leave the train at "Greifswald main station" [Greifswald Hauptbahnhof].
