Special Events

The registration fee encompasses more than just coffee breaks (which come with a selection of snacks) for the duration of the meeting; it also includes a rich itinerary of social and scientific activities:

• A Welcome Reception for the participants of the School featuring regional Bavarian delicacies and draft beer, to be held on Thursday evening
• An unforgettable barbecue soirée nestled among elm trees, scheduled for Friday evening
• The Scientific Opening and Welcome Reception for the Symposium, which will occur at the Faculty Club and on the terrace of the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) on Monday evening
• An Educational Tour and movie night at the ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Center nearby, followed by a relaxing Sundowner on the terrace, set for Tuesday evening
• The conference's signature dinner on Wednesday evening, which includes the unique experience of two massive parabolic slides
