Director’s Office

The Scientific Director’s Office comprises the departments of the central scientific infrastructure, such as public relations and the information and documentation section.

Duties also include preparation of the sessions held by the Board of Scientific Directors and the Directorate reportage, and project planning and supervision.

Annual programme discussions are held to enable projects and work groups at IPP to explain the status and results of their work and announce further planning.

This serves as the basis for determining personnel and material requirements and medium-term institute planning, which are then agreed with the European Fusion Programme and the fusion research centres of the Helmholtz Association.
