Newly published: Brochure on the collaboration of German fusion research institutions with industry
At the cutting edge of technology - How industrial companies benefit from fusion research contracts
Developing a fusion power plant is a major scientific and technological challenge that in many fields has reached the limits of what is currently possible. The search for new solutions pushes the industrial partners involved in this process to outstanding technological achievements.
Examples from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Forschungszentrum Jülich, and the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching and Greifswald are given in the brochure "Industry collaborations in industry" showing that industrial companies benefit not only directly from the contracts awarded, but also from the increase in their expertise and the accompanying improvement in their market position.
