Numerical Methods for the Kinetic Equations of Plasma Physics (NumKin2014)

20 - 24 October 2014, IPP Garching, Germany


The purpose of this workshop is to bring together a small number of specialists in the development of numerical methods for collisionless and collisional kinetic equations, and discuss the current evolutions in the field.

The workshop will consist of two parts. One part will be devoted to the presentation of novel numerical methods for kinetic and related equations, and the other part will be devoted to the development of verification tests for kinetic and gyrokinetic codes. This second part will be a follow-up of the AMVV 2014 workshop held in April.
