Jasmine Schirmer is Regulatory Affairs Senior Manager for Digital Solutions at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Munich.

After completing her phd at IPP Garching (LMU Munich) she continued as a postdoc at IPP (to measure plasma rotation in a tokamak fusion device) and then decided to take up a postdoc position at the Nuklearmedizinische Klinik im Klinikum Rechts der Isar (PET image reconstruction) in Munich. Thereafter, she spent nine years in project management at Brainlab AG Munich, where she was responsible for the development of radiotherapy treatment planning software. She then moved to Carl Zeiss in 2018.
