"Wunderkammer Wissenschaft" is coming to Greifswald
IPP is presenting the travelling exhibition of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres
This event is being held at Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) in Greifswald from 18 October till 2 November 2012. With some 500 pictures with incidental acoustics the Helmholtz Association, in which IPP is an associate institute, is presenting a fascinating research insight – from tiny nanoworlds to the large scale devices in fusion research.
The curio collections of the 16th and 17th centuries, brimful of rare objects from nature, science and art, have been transformed in the travelling exhibition to huge cabin trunks: modern “curio cabinets” that feature motifs from science like works of art with their clever visual presentations.
