PLASMA 2007 – International Conference on Research and Applications of Plasmas

16 - 19 October, 2007, Greifswald, Germany

International Conference on Research and Applications of Plasmas combined with the 4th German-Polish Conference on Plasma Diagnostics for Fusion and Applications and the 6th French-Polish Seminar on Thermal Plasma in Space and Laboratory

  • The program, a one-page short version of the PLASMA 2007, and a list of posters is available for download here or from the righthand download menue.
  • The book of abstracts can be downloaded here, PDF, 8.6MB
  • Proceedings will be published in the same form as in the previous PLASMA 2005 conference, i.e. in the series of AIP conference proceedings (proceedings.aip.org/proceedings) published by the American Institute of Physics.
An online version of the proceedings will be published simultaneously with the printed version and will be available for participants for a period of one year.

Taking into consideration the growing interest in European scientific collaboration the International Conference PLASMA 2007 took place at the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik (IPP), Germany, from Tuesday, Oct 16 to Friday, Oct 19, 2007. The scientific organization was done in close cooperation with the Committee of Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Andrzej Soltan Institute for Nuclear Studies (IPJ), Poland and the Laboratoire d'Aerothermique, CNRS, France.

The conference was designed for interested scientists, engineers and students in particular for those from Central and Eastern Europe. All conference activities were held at the

Max-Planck-Institut fuer Plasmaphysik in
D-17491 Greifswald, Wendelsteinstrasse 1
