Postdoctoral positions in the ASDEX Upgrade Project

Magnetic Probes

The principal focus of this position is the maintenance and operation of the mission-critical magnetic field and flux sensors at ASDEX Upgrade. These measurements provide the information necessary for both the real-time control of the plasma position and the post-experiment interpretation of the plasma form, a necessary first step for all data analysis. The position consists to 50% of this important diagnostic-related work, while the other 50% is dedicated to the personal research interests of the candidate.
