37th ITPA DivSOL Meeting

Registration

Attendance of the ITPA DivSOL Topical Group Meeting is free of charge.

An off-site workshop dinner will take place on Wednesday, 28 January 2026. Participants will cover the cost of their own meals. Further details will be provided closer to the meeting date.

Participants are kindly requested to register because the total number of attendees is restricted to 70 persons due to space limitations at the Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik.

Visa letters

Participants from outside the European Union may need to apply for a visa at the German Embassy, consulate, or other visa-issuing office in their country of origin. Please begin your visa application process as soon as you register. Consulates in some countries take considerable time to process applications. For information on obtaining your visa, go to

As soon as you contemplate travel to Germany, and after identifying that a visa is needed, contact the German embassy or consulate for information about current visa processing time estimates and processes.

For visa purposes, a letter from the conference organisers may be obtained upon the completion of registration. Please email karl.krieger@ipp.mpg.de with a request and a letter will be emailed to you.
