The Wendelstein 7-X Newsletter reports recent developments relating to the Wendelstein 7-X fusion experiment.

Issue 8/2012 portraits, among other things, the cooperation project with the US fusion labs in Princeton, Oak Ridge and Los Alamos. Overall, they are investing more than 7.5 million dollars in construction of Wendelstein 7-X – one of the few projects for which American research funding has been invested into research facilities outside the USA.
