Travel

By air (via Munich):

From Munich airport by S-Bahn (S8) to railway station “München-Ostbahnhof”, then by train to Prien. From Prien railway station to the boat pier (by steam train, bus or taxi), then by boat to the island (boat trip ca. 30 min).

By air (via Salzburg):

From Salzburg airport to main station (by bus or taxi), then by train to Prien. From the railway station to the island as described above.

By train:

Connections Munich-Salzburg run every hour, exit at Prien. From the railway station to the island as described above.

By car:

Exit the motorway A8 (Munich-Salzburg) at Bernau. Then follow on to Prien, Rimsting, Breitbrunn to Gstadt. Parking close to the pier. From Gstadt by boat to the island (boat trip ca. 10 min).
