Jens is a mechanical engineer and has been working in the field of nuclear fusion since 2008, starting with the Stellarator Wendelstein 7-X project and followed by the ITER Tokamak project in France, Cadarache, in the field of management and coordination of design, construction, and installation of large mechanical - fusion related - components in collaboration with industrial partners. He has experience in the field of nuclear fusion and large European and international projects. Until 2018 he worked at ITER as a Construction team leader, since 2018 he is Division Head Tokamak Assembly (Ex-Vessel Delivery & Assembly).
